Let’s Protect Our Peace Even In Chaos

The news cycle has been nonstop lately. From the devastating fires in LA to the tragic crash of American Airlines Flight 5342 (our hearts are with the families, friends, and veterans affected), and now the coup unfolding in Washington—it feels like the world is in constant turmoil.


With everything happening, I’ve made a conscious decision: to protect my wellness and intentionally spread love, light, and joy. Because when we take care of ourselves, we’re better equipped to bring that same energy to those around us.


Here are three simple but powerful ways we can preserve our peace and protect our physical and mental wellness.


1. Set Boundaries with the News & Social Media. Staying informed is important, but constant exposure to distressing news can be overwhelming. Designate specific times to check updates rather than doom-scrolling throughout the day. Curate your feed to include uplifting and informative content that aligns with your values.

2. Prioritize Rest & Daily Rituals. In times of uncertainty, grounding yourself in daily rituals can bring stability. Whether it’s starting the morning with deep breathing, a nourishing skincare routine, or an evening herbal tea ritual, these small acts create a sense of normalcy and control.

3. Nourish Yourself—Mind & Body. Your body thrives on care, even in chaos. Eat nutrient-rich foods, stay hydrated, and move in ways that feel good, whether it’s Pilates, stretching, or a walk outside. Mentally, protect your peace by journaling, meditating, or connecting with loved ones who uplift you.

In uncertain times, wellness isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Take care of yourself first, and everything else will follow.
